Lycoming Aircraft Engine Guide - SSP-397
51 pages $8.45

lycoming.jpg (35607 bytes)  This is Lycoming's "official" guide to what each designation of each engine means and also which engine comes from which airplane.

For example, an 0-360 A4M (which is what I fly) is the same as an A1A except it has a solid crankshaft, Slick magnetos, and long bushings in the prop flange. This engine was originally built for, and can now be found in Piper Archer IIs and Valmet PIK-23s.

This guide can be a real time saver if you are in the market for a used engine.

Feel free to call or e-mail (bookstore@lancaironline.net) if you just need 1 or 2 quick references, however, if you think you'll want it as a long term reference, here it is.
